Michael Murphy graduated from Lee University in 2012 and started working at HHM directly thereafter. He works in both the auditing and tax sectors. Michael enjoys researching different tax and business strategies in order to best assist our clients. He also enjoys learning about each client’s business so as to provide as much assistance and guidance as possible, in every aspect of the business. Michael primarily works in real estate, construction, hospitality, and transportation/logistics, focusing on both tax planning and financial statement presentation. He appreciates the friendly culture at HHM and the true focus on understanding and helping clients. In his free time, Michael enjoys traveling with his wife and daughter, as well as hiking, playing music, reading, and playing sports. He serves on the Board for the National Memorial for the Unborn and the Chattanooga Ronald McDonald Red Shoe Society. Michael is a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Cleveland TN and participates in their music ministry.
