Bowl for Kids’ Sake is about having fun to help kids continue on a positive path. By supporting Bowl for Kids’ Sake, you can Start Something in your community- more Bigs and Little can be paired up, more friendships can be gained, and improved outlooks on life can be started. Whether you are a bowler or a non-bowler, you will have a great time while making a big difference for many children in the Chattanooga area.
Saturdays, April 14 and April 21 at Spare Time Hixson | 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. -4:00 p.m
Bowling for a child’s well being is rewarding regardless of the final score! Call your friends, neighbors, and co-workers to form teams and support Big Brothers Big Sisters through Bowl for Kids’ Sake. Each team has four players at $240 per team ($60 per person). For companies/individuals with 15 teams or more- $50 per person. Choose between two sessions each date, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. -4:00 p.m. First place competitive team wins $500 (for both dates) and there are trophies for overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each session. All bowlers will receive a T-Shirt and will be eligible for door prizes to be given throughout the event. Prizes include restaurant gift certificates, tickets to local entertainment attractions, home decor items, and much, much more!
The majority of our participants are not regular bowlers, in fact, many have either never bowled before at all or only bowl once a year, with us! Big Brothers Big Sisters is a preventative, one-to-one mentoring program. Our mission is to help children reach their full potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with measurable impact. These relationships, built on friendship and trust, are proven to be a significant positive influence in both the life of the child and the volunteer.
Start Something today! Partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters through Bowl for Kids’ Sake makes a positive, long lasting impact on children in your community. Our mentoring works. It works to help broaden children’s perspectives and help them learn how to make good choices. It starts a child on the path to fulfilling their potential- and succeeding in school and life.
