Brock Oliver is a seasoned public accounting professional with deep expertise in non-profit, governmental, and higher education sectors. A Partner at HHM, Brock leads the firm’s Governmental Practice and oversees Single Audit quality control. He also serves as an AICPA Peer Review Captain, assisting with the Firm’s peer review practice that includes a national portfolio of over 100 firms, and regularly consults and performs pre-issuance reviews for peer firms across the country. Prior to joining HHM, Brock spent a decade at a Top 10 CPA firm, where he played a pivotal role in launching the Nashville office and led the Southeast region’s Higher Education practice. His success stems not only from his technical capabilities, but also from his commitment to building strong, trust-based relationships with clients and colleagues alike. He believes public accounting is fundamentally a people business. A Chattanooga native, Brock spent the last ten years in Orlando and Nashville before returning home. He graduated from Ooltewah High School and walked on to the football team at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, where he lettered all four years as the team’s long snapper. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Brock is actively involved in his profession and community, including membership with the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). He currently serves as Chairman of the Cleveland Advisory Committee for the Ronald McDonald House of Chattanooga and is a member of the organization’s board of directors. Outside the office, Brock enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, reading, playing golf, and cheering on the Tennessee Vols.
