Cheryl Grossnickle is a senior accountant in the Pensacola office. She brings considerable knowledge to all facets of public accounting including corporate and personal tax, auditing and assurance, and dealership services as well as accounting and financial statement preparation. Her specialties include restaurants, employee benefit plan, and not-for-profit audits, as well as small business advising, tax planning, and mitigation strategies. She provides exceptional client service and creates custom financial reports to meet her clients’ individual needs to ensure compliance, improve efficiency and optimize growth potential. Cheryl is passionate about relentlessly learning new skills and continually striving to be better, whether at work or in life. She draws on the knowledge of her colleagues and superiors and is grateful to be surrounded by intelligent, driven and successful people. She owes her strong work ethic to growing up on a dairy farm and her motivation to try to be the best at everything she does. Originally from Maryland, Cheryl earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, including a minor in Economics, from Shepherd University with a summa cum laude distinction. She received additional academic awards such as the nomination to McMurran Scholar for outstanding academic achievement, the prestigious Delta Sigma Pi Scholarship Key Award for attaining the highest grade point average in the Business and Accounting departments, and being inducted into the National Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. She is currently working towards her goal of becoming a CPA. Cheryl has two children, one grandson and two dogs. Together with her dog, Luna, she is a member of the volunteer organization K9 Legacy Search and Rescue Team. The two participate in area live finds, covering areas up to 80 acres. The team serves communities from Florida to Louisiana. In her free time, Cheryl enjoys reading (especially at the beach), traveling, attending concerts, and, of course, spending time with family.
