Jacob Pardue is a manager in HHM’s Dealership Services Group. He primarily leads tax, buy/sell transactions, and consulting engagements nationwide for clients in the automotive industry, although he also works with local business owners in various industries to meet their tax and accounting needs. Jacob’s in-depth understanding of the automotive sector began at 18, when he worked in automotive detailing while also brokering car deals for himself and a client base he built during college. These early experiences, combined with his professional background, give him a unique perspective and make him a valuable advisor to his automotive clients. An avid personal finance enthusiast, Jacob earned his MBA with a concentration in finance and has completed AICPA coursework in retirement and investment planning. He is passionate about helping clients achieve their retirement and estate planning goals, guiding them through complex investment, gift, trust, and estate issues with clarity and care. When Jacob is not serving his clients, he acts as the firm’s Head of Campus Recruiting. Grateful for the opportunities his own university experience provided, he takes pride in recruiting and mentoring the next generation of successful CPAs. Aside from his professional accomplishments, Jacob is known as the “resident car guy” at HHM. He enjoys working on, buying, and selling sports cars as a hobby and can be found at local car shows on any given weekend. His favorite car is the Ford Mustang, of which he has owned over 10 different models. Additionally, Jacob is a big sports fan, rooting for all University of Tennessee teams as well as the Atlanta Braves.
