Jacob Swafford joined HHM CPAs as a Staff Accountant in 2025 after completing an internship with the firm. Based in the Chattanooga office, Jacob prepares individual and business tax returns, helping clients navigate complex tax matters with accuracy and attention to detail. Jacob brings prior tax internship experience and a strong interest in client service to his role. He is known for his thorough approach and belief that success in tax lies in the details. Jacob defines success as making a positive impact on the world and caring for the people around him. Jacob earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Outside the office, Jacob spends as much time outdoors as possible, fishing, backpacking, and exploring new areas.
