Kirby Bennett serves as a Senior Manager in HHM CPAs' Audit department, where she leads audit engagements from planning through completion for clients across a variety of industries. She works closely with clients and engagement teams to deliver high-quality audit and assurance services, with experience in financial statement audits, internal controls, SOX compliance, risk advisory, process improvement, and project management. She is known for her practical approach to complex accounting and auditing matters and her commitment to developing strong client relationships. Prior to joining HHM, Kirby built extensive experience in public accounting, internal audit, and risk advisory, managing audit and advisory engagements for publicly traded companies ranging from approximately $55 million to $5.5 billion in revenue. Her experience spans industries including financial services, insurance, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, technology, real estate, retail, nonprofit, and professional services. Kirby is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Tennessee. She earned both her Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rhodes College. She has served on the Tennessee Society of CPAs' Accounting Careers & Education Committee and Scholarship Committee and is a graduate of the New Memphis Institute Embark leadership program.
