HHM CPAs, the largest locally owned accounting firm, promotes 22 professionals within the firm.

Senior Managers

  • Jon Paul Davis, CPA, CGMA, MBA, was promoted to senior manager in HHM’s Management Advisory Services department. He joined the firm as an intern in 2008, served as a loaned executive to the United Way during his first year on staff, and moved quickly through the ranks. Today he provides business owners with the knowledge and foresight they need to navigate complex financial decisions. He guides companies through business planning, including strategic growth decisions, and forecasts and financial modeling. Jon Paul also assists clients with all stages of mergers and acquisitions from planning, to implementation, to the evaluation of tax consequences. He is an Emerging Leader of United Way, a Leadership Chattanooga graduate and a member of Rotaract of Chattanooga. He obtained his Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
  • Adam Osborne, CPA, was promoted to senior manager in HHM’s Accounting and Assurance Department. He serves nonprofits, construction clients, dealerships, and professional poker players. Working in both audit and tax, he often considers both sides to add value to each service. For example, when in the field on an audit he might suggest process improvements to limit the potential for fraud to take place. He most enjoys assessing clients’ internal procedures to help them implement operational improvements. Adam also joined HHM in 2008 and has quickly made his way to senior manager. He is a graduate of Lee University.
  • Branden Wilson, CPA, was promoted to senior manager in HHM's Accounting and Assurance Department. Although he spends a great deal of time dedicated to HHM 's dealership services group, there is hardly an industry he doesn’t touch. Branden believes his success within the firm is attributable to his work ethic, pursuit of excellence, and his commitment to provide exceptional client service. These characteristics allow him to consistently exceed clients’ expectations, and become his clients’ most trusted business advisor.He is an Emerging Leader of United Way, and a BDO Alliance Leadership Program graduate. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lee University, and on Saturdays he bleeds orange.

Managers

  • Blake Bennett, CPA, was promoted to manager in HHM's tax department. Blake's spends the majority of his time working with healthcare, dealership and international tax clients. He specializes in cost segregation studies, tax planning for individuals/ closely held businesses and tax research. He serves on the board of Chattanooga Tax Practitioners. He is a graduate of Lee University
  • Will Clegg, MBA, was promoted to manager in HHM’s dealership services group. He has extensive experience advising corporate and individual clients on the nuances of tax planning. He helps real estate, construction, medical, emerging business & start-up, and dealership clients with strategic business transactions, such as buying and selling or securing financing. Will is a graduate of Leadership Chattanooga and is heavily involved in the firm’s marketing efforts. He has sat on the board for numerous community organizations, having served as past treasurer for YPAC & Autism & Behavior Services. He served as an Executive Committee Member and auction chairman for the American Heart Association’s Heart Ball. Currently, Will serves on the Hospice of Chattanooga’s Foundation Board and is the sponsorship co-chair for Pink! 2017. He obtained his Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
  • Chad Goodman, CPA, was promoted to manager in HHM's dealership services group. His time is divided between preparing tax returns and performing audits for dealership clients. Focused on giving back to the community, Chad is a United Way Emerging Leader and serves as a board member for the Northside Neighborhood House. He is a graduate of Lee University
  • Chelsea Tackett Garcia, CPA, was promoted to manager in HHM's accounting and assurance department. Chelsea provides audit and tax services to construction and manufacturing clients, as well as start-up businesses. She currently serves as treasurer for YPAC. She obtained her Master of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
  • Zach Hutcherson, CPA, MBA, was promoted to manager in HHM’s accounting and assurance department. Zach serves businesses within a broad range of industries such as manufacturing, nonprofit, and automotive dealerships. His specializations include audit, tax, and employee benefit plans. Zach is currently president of YPAC, a Protege Chattanooga graduate, and is in the 2016-2017 Class of Leadership Chattanooga. He obtained a Masters in Accountancy and a Masters in Business Administration from Samford University’s Brock School of Business.
  • Tammy Jacobs, CPA, was promoted to manager in HHM's tax department. She specializes in small business controller services, providing oversight and advice to healthcare, manufacturing, and trucking clients. Since joining HHM, several former clients from Atlanta have sought her out because of the personal attention and excellent customer service she provides. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
  • Josh Jolley, CPA, was promoted to manager in HHM's management advisory services group. With a background in audit and tax he now uses his talents to guide companies through mergers and acquisitions, provide specialized analysis, as well as general business consulting providing services such as business planning, forecasts and financial modeling. Additionally, he also provides support for CFO’s and Controllers in reviewing insurance and financing agreements, contracts, and other organizational documents. He is a graduate of Lee University.
  • Robert Malone, III, CPA, was promoted to manager in HHM's dealership services group. In addition to serving both the audit and tax needs of dealership clients, Rob also provides services to a variety of clients including, electrical co-ops and contractors. He serves as a board member for Signal Centers and his local church. He is a graduate of Lee University.
  • Sydney Zumbrun, CPA, was promoted to manager in HHM's accounting and assurance department. Sydney performs audits on a wide variety of clients, including nonprofits, electrical co-ops, governmental entities, and employee benefit plans. Sydney is passionate about the American Heart Association and serves on the Go Red for Women committee. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Supervisors

  • Sarah Clegg was promoted to supervisor in HHM's accounting and assurance group. She serves both the audit and tax needs of HHM’s employee benefit plan and construction clients, as well as small business clients and individuals. Her background in accounting and proficiency in QuickBooks enable her to assist clients in invaluable ways. Sarah is an active member of the Junior League of Chattanooga. She obtained her degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
  • Brandi Mosley, CPA, was promoted to supervisor in HHM's tax department. She provides tax and financial services to businesses including trucking, retail, construction, and healthcare. Always seeking new ways to provide value, Brandi enjoys working with clients to advise on the latest tax strategies and best financial practices for their businesses. She obtained her Master of Accountancy from Shorter College.
  • Travis Phillips, CPA, MBA, was promoted to supervisor in HHM's tax department. He provides tax and assurance services to businesses including those in construction, manufacturing, Real Estate. Travis enjoys the variety of clients he works with and the relationships that are made. He obtained his Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
  • Weston Porter was promoted to supervisor in HHM's accounting and assurance department. Weston works primarily with non-profit and governmental clients as well as construction and manufacturing. He enjoys being able to assist clients with both their audit and tax needs. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
  • Kathy Sanders, CPA, was promoted to supervisor in HHM’s Management Advisory Services group. She enjoys helping companies negotiate complex business decisions such as expansion, restructuring or even litigation. Before joining the Firm in 2012, Kathy was a private accountant in both governmental and manufacturing environments and now applies that knowledge to her varied client list. She obtained her degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Senior Accountants

  • McCall Lasater was promoted to Senior Accountant in HHM's audit and assurance department. McCall served as a HHM intern before being hired as a staff accountant. She enjoys helping clients gain greater financial clarity by giving them an accurate perspective of their financial records. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
  • Brennan Purcell, CPA, CGMA, was promoted to senior accountant in HHM's audit and assurance department. He is responsible for tax returns and audits for various clients, including individuals and closely held corporations. He has worked with various industries including, but not limited to, real estate, construction, hospitality, manufacturing, and medical. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University.
  • Lydia Roberts was promoted to senior accountant in HHM's tax department. She spent nearly seven years as an Event Manager for the Chattanooga Convention Center. Now her attention to detail and organizational abilities serve her well preparing tax returns. She is an active member of the Chattanooga Women's Leadership Institute, serving on the Leadership Studies, Leadership Luncheon & Financial Empowerment Committees, and as past chair of the sponsorship committee for Impact. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
  • Ryne Shumaker was promoted to senior accountant in HHM's accounting and assurance department. Ryne was an intern at HHM before being hired as a staff accountant. In addition to seasonal tax work, he performs audits for nonprofit, dealership and employee benefit plans. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
  • Matt Vishetti was promoted to senior accountant in HHM's dealership services group. He was an intern at HHM before being hired as a staff accountant. Today Matt is responsible for accounting and tax work with clients, including planning, preparing, and consulting. In addition to tax work, Matt performs compilations, reviews, and audits for dealership clients. He obtained his Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
