Jon Paul Davis named managing partner of the Memphis Office

HHM CPAs, one of the Best of the Best Firms as ranked by INSIDE Public Accounting, is pleased to announce Jon Paul Davis, MBA, CPA, ABV, CVA, MAFF, CGMA, has been named Managing Partner of the Memphis location. Davis relocated from the Chattanooga office to the firm’s location at 1755 Kirby Parkway in Memphis.

A graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Davis joined the firm full-time in Chattanooga in 2009. He was named partner in 2018 and made his move to Memphis in 2022.

“I am honored to be a part of HHM’s continued growth in the Memphis area,” said Jon Paul Davis. “Relocating to Memphis was an easy decision and I look forward to calling this great city home.”

Jon Paul has been a major asset to our firm as he has led our Advisory Services group.  When the time came to select a new managing partner for our Memphis office, he was a natural fit and willingly accepted the opportunity.  In addition to focusing on his new Memphis role, he will continue leading our firm’s Advisory Services group and working with clients based in Chattanooga, Memphis, and other locations.  

He assists clients with all stages of mergers and acquisitions from planning to implementation, and to the evaluation of tax consequences. In addition, he provides business valuation services to businesses and attorneys. He has served on teams representing both buy and sell sides of transactions, as well as valuations for financial reporting and intangible asset impairment.

Davis is a former adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee of Chattanooga. He is a member of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Davis looks forward to getting integrated into the Memphis community and supporting the city’s diverse business landscape.
