Randy Dummer to Present at AICPA Employee Benefit Plans Conference
HHM CPAs is proud to share that Partner Randy Dummer will serve as a presenter at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Employee Benefit Plan Audit Conference on April 28, 2026—one of the profession’s leading events focused on employee benefit plan (EBP) audits and ERISA compliance.
Randy will present as part of the Peer Review Workshop (Parts I & II) alongside national leaders, including representatives from the U.S. Department of Labor. These sessions will address key developments impacting employee benefit plan audits, with a focus on peer review expectations, identifying unique risks across different types of plans, and recent updates to the Employee Benefit Plan audit engagement checklist. The workshop will also cover common matters for consideration (MFCs) identified through enhanced oversight and provide practical insight into evaluating real-world audit findings.
Randy brings extensive experience as a Tennessee-based employee benefit plan auditor and ERISA audit subject matter expert, serving as HHM CPAs' quality management partner and leading the firm’s peer review practice. He performs final reviews on more than 100 employee benefit plan audits annually and plays a key role in overseeing the firm’s peer review process.
A nationally recognized speaker, Randy has been teaching seminars for the AICPA since 2003 and is an eight-time recipient of the AICPA Outstanding Discussion Leader Award.
