Several Staff Honored at UTC Scholarship Awards Banquet
HHM CPAs proudly announces that several of its staff members were recognized for their achievements at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Accounting Department Awards Banquet held August 29, 2024 in Chattanooga.
Taylor Dunagan and Londyn Horton, both interns at HHM CPAs in the Chattanooga office, were celebrated for their exemplary performance as undergraduate accounting students. Taylor Dunagan was awarded the prestigious HHM Scholarship, while Londyn Horton received the Ladell McCullough Scholarship. Both students were selected based on their exceptional academic records, demonstrated leadership and communication skills, and active participation in extracurricular activities. Taylor Dunagan delivered a compelling speech, further highlighting her dedication and achievements. Other students receiving HHM scholarships included Harrison Bean, Natalie Kaltenbacher, Sydney Kidd, and Justin Straus.
Aidan Kennedy, a staff accountant at HHM CPAs in the Chattanooga office, was honored with the Kathleen Long CPA Memorial Scholarship. Currently enrolled in the Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program at UTC, Aidan Kennedy was recognized for his commitment to pursuing the CPA license and his outstanding performance in the field of accounting.
In addition to the scholarship recipients, several staff members were present to support the event. Zach Kanady, supervisor, and Nicole Glaser, staff accountant, serve on the UTC Young Accounting Advisory Board. Beverly Edge, COO and partner, is a member of the School of Business Dean's Advisory Board, and Daniel Sheets, partner, is part of the School of Accounting Advisory Board.
