Brittany Carman has over 15 years of public accounting experience. She focuses on the accounting and assurance needs of privately held companies in various industries, including construction, nonprofit, and manufacturing and distribution, among others. Brittany also leads audits of employee benefit plans. Putting her in-depth knowledge of accounting principles to use—along with experience working with different businesses to help improve her clients’ internal controls—results in growth across her vast client portfolio. During each engagement, Brittany works with clients one-on-one to solve financial problems and offers a fresh perspective. Internally, Brittany oversees the firm’s Women's Initiative Committee, is involved with the Campus Recruitment Committee, as well as the firm’s training and development initiatives. Active in the community, Brittany serves as the Education Chair of the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance, Chattanooga Chapter, and finance committee member for the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute. Prior to her time at HHM, Brittany spent several years at a regional firm in Atlanta and served as a partner of a local CPA firm. Brittany graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Management with a concentration in Accounting. Outside of the office, Brittany enjoys cooking, golfing, and relaxing outside with her husband, friends, and dog.
