Weston joined HHM’s Accounting and Assurance group in 2012 after graduating from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with an accounting degree. He provides audit services to governmental, non-profit, construction, and manufacturing clients, in addition to local and regional trade contractor unions. As a senior manager, he executes a wide array of tasks from leading and planning audits, reviews and compilations, to field work and financial statement preparation. In addition to his audit responsibilities, Weston is involved in HHM’s tax practice. His tax experience includes solving complex tax issues and preparing state and federal tax documents for nonprofit, construction, real estate, manufacturing and individual clients. Weston enjoys sharing his well developed skills and knowledge through mentoring staff accountants. Realizing his proficiency for numbers early in life, Weston worked for six years in bookkeeping and managerial roles at Bi-Lo grocery stores beginning his senior year of high school. His strong work ethic and customer service experience serve him well in his current role, as he always strives to see every client’s needs through to completion. When not working, Weston enjoys his time playing disc golf and spending time with his wife and three children. He is also heavily involved in community outreach, serving as the treasurer of the Chattanooga Autism Center.
