HHM CPAs Donates Over 350 Family Thanksgiving Meals to Area Organizations

HHM Certified Public Accountants celebrated its fourth annual Thanksgiving fundraiser this year by providing Thanksgiving meals to 356 families across the regions it serves. Meal boxes were distributed to multiple organizations in Chattanooga, Cleveland, Memphis, and Pensacola in mid-November.

The initiative, started in 2021 by Catelyn Millaway, a senior accountant at HHM CPAs, continues to grow each year. Staff at HHM collected dry goods and packaged them in individual boxes throughout November. Each box included pantry staples like peanut butter, tea, canned vegetables, canned fruit, all-purpose baking mix, cornbread mix, stuffing, gravy, potatoes, macaroni and cheese, brownie mix, cooking spray, and sugar. To complete the meals, the HHM partner group wrote checks to the recipient organizations to purchase turkeys or hams.

“When I started this fundraiser four years ago, it was just a small initiative in Chattanooga,” said Millaway. “I’m truly humbled to see how much it has grown to now include the communities served by all of our offices, including Memphis and Pensacola. It’s a testament to the generosity and dedication of our team that we can make such a widespread impact.”

Meal boxes were distributed in Chattanooga to organizations Southside Youth Development, Chatt Foundation, Westside Community Center, and Dalewood Middle School. Boxes in Cleveland were donated to The Caring Place. Memphis meal boxes were distributed to Street Ministries and Neighborhood Christian Centers. In Pensacola, the meal baskets were donated to the Salvation Army.

This year’s month-long, staff-led initiative continues to exemplify HHM CPAs’ commitment to supporting its communities and making a meaningful impact for families during the holiday season.
