We're Hiring: Administrative Assistant - Accounting & Assurance Department
Responsibilities and Specific Duties:
The Administrative Assistant for the Accounting and Assurance Department is responsible for ensuring all financial statements, proposals, engagement letters, and other documents are handled promptly, noted for details, and processed in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be able to perform the following:
1. Financial Statement Proofing, Formatting and Processing
2. Proposal Drafting for Potential Clients
3. Maintaining Database for Continuing Education for 50+ Accountants
4. Assist Clients/Staff in obtaining financial statements and tax documents
5. Provide Back-up and Clerical Support for All Departments
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
1. Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
2. Knowledge of accounting terminology and financial reports
3. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint) proficiency required
4. Experience in Prosystem fx Tax and Accounting software a plus
5. Professionalism, dependability and integrity combined with dedication to the team
6. Ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
8. Strong grasp in the proper use of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling
