WILL CLEGG PLACES IN NATION’S TOP 10 AMBASSADORS IN ANNUAL AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY’S ‘REAL MEN WEAR PINK’

Will Clegg, a partner at HHM CPAs in Chattanooga, TN, participated this past October in the “Real Men Wear Pink” movement to help fight the threat of breast cancer alongside the American Cancer Society. Clegg took his participation seriously and worked hard to exceed his personal goal of $100,000.Through his tireless efforts, Clegg was able to donate over $102,000 to the American Cancer Society. With Clegg leading the charge, his team placed 6th in the nation among 2,000+ ambassadors across the country.

Proudly representing the Chattanooga area, Clegg stated: “Breast cancer affects everyone – it doesn’t matter if you’re a man or a woman. That’s why I’m stepping up to fight breast cancer with all I have. Since I’m in a position to make a difference within my community, I believe I have an obligation to do so. By raising money and awareness through Real Men Wear Pink, I’m helping save more lives from breast cancer.”

Clegg has been an avid supporter of breast cancer awareness and the “Real Men Wear Pink” movement as he has experienced the effects of breast cancer in his own life. As an ambassador, Clegg wore pink throughout the month of October, raised awareness through his personal and professional social media, and exceeded his required minimum of $2,500 to go towards the American Cancer Society.

The initiative - in partnership with the American Cancer Society - began in Jackson, Tennessee in 2013 and has grown rapidly since. The focus of this movement is to raise awareness of the effects breast cancer has on everyone and to support a mission to save more lives than ever from this disease. This is accomplished by research for earlier detection and prevention of breast cancer, funding breakthrough cancer discovery and research, and helping provide lifesaving patient support.
