Peer Reviews

As part of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Peer Review Program, we are called upon to perform approximately 20 peer reviews of other certified public accounting firms across the country each year. The Peer Review Program is dedicated to enhancing the quality of accounting, auditing, and attestation services, and we are glad to be an active, respected participant.

How do our Peer Reviews make a difference for you?

Performing peer reviews allows us to provide better client service by giving us the chance to observe and understand techniques of other accounting firms. We are able to integrate into HHM’s culture of service the good things we learn – and avoid the negative aspects of the firms we review. Our own firm is stronger as a result. And, as we are strengthened, so are you.

Being a firm that qualifies to perform peer reviews is important to us – and to our clients. In order to perform this vital function, we are required to have day-to-day involvement in audit and assurance work that is comprehensive enough to show our professional expertise and ability to make informed judgements regarding other firms. We hold ourselves to a high standard, and being part of the Peer Review Program shows us to be a top-quality CPA firm.
